Icons of the Heart is a three-part needlepoint series drawing from centuries of religious iconography, devotional art, and folk tradition. At the center of each piece is the heart: a symbol revered across cultures as the seat of love, sacrifice, and spiritual truth.
Each design draws from a wealth of traditional iconography...echoes of stained glass, ex-votos, illuminated manuscripts, and sacred relics...all reimagined in bold color and with simple detail. Stitched as a personal act of reflection or shared as a gift of love, these canvases invite a sense of stillness, beauty, and devotion.
